چکیده

The mastitis of dairy goats is a disease the economic importance worldwide and mostly associated with bacterial infections. aim this study was to isolate bacteriae causing subclinical mastitis, determine susceptibility some clinical isolates against several antimicrobial agents frequently used control in Southern Marmara Region. A total 68 Saanen were for investigation determined by using California Mastitis Test. As result bacteriological analysis milk samples, 30 different bacteria species have been identified non-aureus staphylococci found be predominant rate 22.1%. highest isolation among Escherichia coli (18.9%), Staphylococcus aureus (15.7%), Streptococcus agalactiae (14.2%) epidermidis (7.9%). high including coli, aureus, agalactiae, epidermidis, uberis, Enterococcus faecalis, haemolyticus Mannheimia haemolytica twelve antibiotics disc diffusion method. Bacterial strains analyzed showed sensitivity ofloxacin (87.9%) followed cefuroxime (85.8%) cefazolin (83.6%). In conclusion, still remains problem goats, elimination besides protective measures, determination their antibiotic sensitivities should priority.

Antibiotic Resistance in Staphylococcus aureus and Coagulase Negative Staphylococci Isolated from Goats with Subclinical Mastitis

Antimicrobial resistance patterns and gene coding for methicillin resistance (mecA) were determined in 25 S. aureus and 75 Coagulase Negative Staphylococci (CNS) strains isolates from half-udder milk samples collected from goats with subclinical mastitis. Fourteen (56.0%) S. aureus and thirty-one (41.3%) CNS isolates were resistant to one or more antimicrobial agents. S. aureus showed the highe...

Characteristics of staphylococci isolated from clinical and subclinical mastitis cows in Shahrekord, Iran

Staphylococci isolated from 98 mastitic cow’s milk samples were analyzed for the production of alpha, beta and delta-hemolysin on sheep, bovine and horse red blood cells and in vitro susceptibility to several antimicrobial agents. Out of a total of 18 isolated strains, 100% demonstrated hemolytic activity either alone or in combined forms. Among 8 isolates of S. aureus 3 isolates produced α/β an...
